Why We Give: Dick and Vicki Schwartz

“While we have given modest support to the University since graduation, several years ago we decided to make our contribution more targeted, and more lasting, by establishing an undergraduate scholarship fund. It was very easy to start it, and has been extremely easy to add to it, in varying amounts, year after year. Talking with scholarship recipients has convinced us that we made the right decision.

“The drive, creativity, and talent of Rochester students continue to amaze us. In honor of our 50th reunions we plan to make additional contributions to that fund and have also included the University in our wills.

“We have seen the University grow and become ever better. Our Rochester experience continues even today, and we want to continue to support the institution, its mission, and its students in perpetuity.”
